Coronary angioplasty 6-8 weeks   Driving advice: The DVLA state that you must stop driving for at least 1 week after a successful procedure. If procedure not successful, then cease driving for at least 4 weeks. For more information, see: Patients who drive a Class 2 vehicle are legally obliged to inform the DVLA in Swansea about their operation and must not drive for 3 months.
